My name’s Tony Brinklow and I have a passion for making Science and Maths as easy to understand, and enjoyable, as possible.
I tutor online via Zoom all levels up to, and beyond, A-level. I also keep some early-evening slots back for in-person lessons around Horsham, West Sussex. Every morning, I can also be found working with small groups of students in the 6th form of the Weald Community School in Billingshurst, West Sussex.
Since starting tutoring in 2016, following a career in both academia and industry, I have accumulated more than 10,000 hours of tuition, having helped pupils as young as 9 all the way up to adults learners looking to brush up their maths skills for employment. I’m pleased to say that the vast majority of my students come from word-of-mouth referrals.
I’m fully DBS-certified, and having seen my son go through the stress of GCSEs, I understand that having a patient and sympathetic approach makes a huge difference to progress and confidence.
While I offer courses of lessons following the syllabus, the majority of my students prefer the flexibility of deciding lesson-by-lesson what we work on. That way, when you already “get” a subject, but just need to brush up one or two problem areas, I can tailor bespoke lessons just for you.
